Amit Agarwal is Chief Executive Officer of EAAA Alternatives, one of India’s leading alternative asset management platforms with over USD 8 billion under management. The firm operates a diversified platform dedicated to unlocking value through multi-strategy investment management across Private Credit and Real Assets. In this role, he oversees the firm’s investment activity, capital formation, LP relationships, and business growth across the platform, while building an institution that has client centricity, disciplined investing, in-depth asset management, and value creation for all stakeholders at its core.

With over 25 years of experience in investments, fundraising and asset management, Amit has led transactions across a broad range of sectors, including Industrials, Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals, Real Estate & Hospitality, Energy, Roads and Telecom Infrastructure, among others. His experience spans the full investment lifecycle—from origination, structuring and investing to active asset management, value creation, resolution and exits.

Having spent nearly two decades with the Edelweiss Group, Amit has played a key role in building the EAAA platform from inception. His experience spans investing, asset management, business development, fundraising and M&A transactions, contributing to the firm’s growth and institutional standing.

Amit's prior experiences include a nearly 3-year stint at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the GRID - Infrastructure practice providing management consulting services to infrastructure and energy utility companies across India on process improvement, reduction of T&D losses and value creation. He also worked at the Strategic business unit of Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited, where he was involved in M&A, fundraising and proposed AIM listing of the company.

Amit is an All India Rank Holder Chartered Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Lucknow University. He is an Executive Committee Member of the Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA) and a Board Member of the INSOL India.
